Let us tell you that Guwahati Municipal Corporation has created a website, i.e. https://gmc.assam.gov.in/, on which taxpayers can see their property tax bill and can make Guwahati Property Tax Online Payments of property tax by logging in. The GMC is giving an online payment facility, for which, the website presents three modes of payment, they are Credit card/ Debit Card and Internet Banking. The user can choose any one of the options at their convenience.

- If you are a first-time user, then you need to make registration first on the website. For this, you need to select ‘Sign Up Now’. Then a Registration Form will open up.
- Fill in all the relevant information like Bill No. or Holding Details- like Holding No., zone, ward number, road number, and owner name. Then enter the details of your contact, like, phone no., mobile no., email ID.
- Next, select the payment mode for the property tax bill with the details of the year for which you want to make payment.
- Then it will ask you to enter your, Bill, no. to confirm the payment.
- After the confirmation, the system will display a confirmation ID. Note down the ID or take out a print of the confirmation page for future use.
