All the property owners in Bangalore have a facility to pay the property tax by visiting the official website of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) which is bbmp.gov.in. The property owner does not have to pay any transaction charges for making an online payment.
BBMP Property Tax Payment
Payment gateway assisted by ICICI Net Banking for ICICI bank account holders, AXIS, Induslnd, and HDFC bank account holders and payment by Credit/Debit card by the IDBI bank, Induslnd Bank, and Corporation Bank. Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike now offers the property holder to pay property tax online for the years 2023-24 of 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, and 2013-14 years information is available online. The BBMP is not going to charge any transaction cost for the card users.

- Go to Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike website www.bbmp.gov.in.
- Click on Online Property Tax or click on the link > https://bbmptax.karnataka.gov.in/
- On this page, you will see two types of forms are available.
- Form IV- This is a White Form and must be filled by the taxpayer if there is not any change in properties through construction and alteration in the last year, not any change in the usage (self-occupied to the occupant or vice versa).
- Form V- This is a Blue Form and must be filled by that property owner in case of changes done in properties either construction or alteration and change in the usage (self-occupied to the occupant or vice versa) in the previous year.
- If the user chooses Form IV, then the next taxpayer has to choose the payment type, which means pay for the full-year or half-yearly payment.
- Here, the user has to select an appropriate form and select the year for which they want to pay property tax. (eg. Current Assessment year 2024-25).
- Enter SAS 2008-09 Application no. or Old PID and click on the Find box. And select the owner name from the given list which is given below.
- After selecting the appropriate name from the displayed list click on Continue.
- The next page will be opened up. On this page, see the property tax computation for the current year with all the necessary information which is pre-filled from the previous year’s property tax calculation, which was paid by you.
- Then you need to click on Proceed to Pay Online. You can make payment of Property Tax online through a Credit/Debit card or net banking.
- After making an online payment, the system will display the current year’s SAS Application number and also display the confirmation message or receipt which must be in PDF format.
- You must download the receipt for your future reference.
- If the applicant could not get the confirmation message or the receipt was not generated or found any technical error while making an online payment, then you can visit the link to find out whether the payment is done or not.

- In the given link, you are required to enter the same SAS application number the same as mentioned above and the system will display all the previous years and current year payments.
- You can take the current year’s receipt online and also the last year’s payment receipt. For this, you have to go to the link below-

- In this link, Select the Assessment year for which you want to take print and enter the SAS application number. Here the receipt of payment of property tax can only be printed if the payment is done online. It will not print the receipt of payment done manually or by cheque.
